Manuka Park Serviced Apartments

What a great find this was for my regular work tours to Canberra. Finally a great location with fully equipped apartment living with the big one, not negotiable item, a comfortable bed. Quiet yet central location and though it's been too cold for a swim, the pool looks great and no doubt hard to resist in warmer weather. Off street/undercover parking is a great included bonus if you book direct.

The receptionist Carrie, was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t go in the pool but it did look quite inviting. We book a 1bedroom apartment. A little run down but was clean and think it was great value for money. Location wise, it was convenient for what we required. Would recommend checking out the cafe down the road for breakfast, Muse.

Spent 17 nights sharing an apartment with family in two bedroom set up. The experience left much to be desired. We arrived to find the front and back doors being painted so moved in trying not to brush up against the paint. Despite being advertised as fully serviced, the unit was cleaned only twice in the long stay. I know that Christmas and New Year are holidays. But the advertising said serviced. Our beds were changed three times when towels were replaced. We ended up buying dishwasher detergent as my attempt to secure more from reception failed. It was a relief that the dishwasher, washing machine and cooking facilities all worked. The decor was pleasant but sorely in need of refreshing as there were cracks in the walls and the fridge and stove a bit old. We took the front bedroom facing the entrance and stairwell and found it quite noisy, especially when visitors started arriving for Summer Nat's. Engine revving, fireworks in the street and loud voices till 2 in the morning. NYE was noisy too. However, the parking ewas undercover and free and the location within walking distance of shops and eateries.
